What's Your Financial Plan?
Oct 07, 2022It doesn’t matter if you’re a student or a career professional, you need at least a working financial plan to be on top of your personal finance.
Yes, the economy, stock market and real estate market can be bad, but our finances will be even worst if we don't have a financial plan....
But what is a financial plan? Here’s the full definition and explanation link: Click Here
In my professional opinion, by having a financial plan, we're putting ourselves into the top 10% of the population, setting ourselves up for a better chance of financial success!
Imagine if you are committed to achieving a college degree, but do not have a graduation plan, such as knowing what specific classes needed and what the time frame to complete your requirements and to avoid any unnecessary detours. Since you're investing so much of your time and money to attend school, you might want to make sure you get the most out of the time and money invested - maximize the benefit of schooling, controlling expenses, and graduate as soon as possible.
Life is filled with challenges and/or opportunities, both of which we do have control over some, and no control over the others. So having a working financial plan will give us perspective, will keep us grounded, focus, will allow us to be flexible and to have control over the many factors that we can control.
In today's current economy with the stock market trending downward, the main question needs to be: what is your financial plan first and foremost? Not investing may be best, etc. (don't just think about investments in the stock market first, but rather focus on other options that can help get you there with more safety.)
Again, be purposeful and be the driver of your finances, don't let it drive you.
